Top 5 Sports Apps on Android in Russia Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw significant trends in the performance of the top sports apps on the Android platform in Russia. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics for the top 5 sports apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer demonstrated a varying trend in downloads, starting the quarter with around 73K weekly downloads, dropping to a low of approximately 57K in mid-July, and peaking at 85K by the end of September. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users increasing from about 5M at the start of the quarter to over 7M by the end.

Football League 2024 saw its downloads surge in early August, reaching over 102K, before stabilizing around 31K to 38K towards the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 184K in August and then gradually declining to approximately 110K by late September.

My Fishing World experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 27K in late June and reaching a peak of 35K by the end of September. Active user numbers also grew, starting at 49K and reaching over 55K in the final week of the quarter.

Touchgrind BMX 2 showed a mixed trend in downloads, with a notable peak at 58K in mid-July, followed by fluctuations and ending the quarter at around 29K. The app maintained a relatively stable active user base, fluctuating between 54K and 87K throughout the quarter.

EA SPORTS™ UFC® Mobile 2 maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 17K to 24K per week. Active users remained steady, averaging around 118K to 124K throughout the quarter.
